The Pärnu Year Runs are inspired by the Eastern calendar and dedicated each year to the corresponding year's symbolic animal. This year features the Year of the Snake run, which consists of nine stages, visiting three locations: Pärnu Vallikäär, Pärnu beach, and the Reiu-Raeküla health trail. The first stage begins on April 29th at Pärnu Vallikäär (1500 meters) and the season concludes on August 19th in the Reiu-Raeküla pine forest (5000 meters). Free children's runs will also take place during all stages, and participants who complete at least six stages will receive a dragon-themed medal at the end of the season.
